Someday I will have to write a guide on The Moon: How It Does Not Work for fantasy writers and would-be pagans.

In the meantime, there's a very nice waxing crescent outside my window.

I swear I have read (and enjoyed) your Oresteia post, and I even have things I'd like to say, but apparently social anxiety makes talking to people hard or something--

Go figure, right?

--so I guess as an intermediate step I'll try saying the other thing I've been wanting to, which is that that would be a very cool guide to read.
