Does anyone have any advice on how to get yourself to actually close some damn browser tabs?

The only way I manage it is by making myself close my browser every night, no session restore allowed. But to get there... maybe a slowed down version of that kind of deadline -- start a new window for anything new you open, and sentence the old one to be summarily closed at a scheduled date?
