Poor Claude

So I woke Claude up by moving him (because seriously, cat, I need that legroom) and now he is awake and hungry (because he's always hungry), but Pixies is asleep, and I am awake but not feeding him (because it's five am), and also not letting him wake up Pixies (because seriously, cat, it is five am, you have never been fed this early), and no matter how much he purrs and chews on my fingers I just don't seem to get the hint.

I keep meaning to make a post about the day last week when Dreadful was so convinced that I should feed him when I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, that he knocked a very solid water glass off my bedside shelf and bounced it off my forehead. I no longer have a goose-egg, but I still have the underlying bruise.

Cats can be adorable little assholes when they're hungry.

I was making this post while trying to keep him from going and knocking things off Pixies' nightstand, which is his preferred method of announcing that it is FEEDING TIME NOW.

Also, yikes and I'm glad it's going down.
