This looks fun, even if I'm not expecting a huge response

Give me the title of a story I've never written and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

Oh, it's always so hard to pick what I like best about anything, but I guess I'd have to say that my favorite part of "Is, or Ought to Be" is the whole thread with the webcomic -- Sherlock setting it up to enliven the small talk on Joan's date, his chagrin when she decided to actually update it, and what it ended up meaning to both of them.

I'm glad that worked - it took a lot of effort to integrate it with the case, and I hoped the emotional arc came through, but it's nice to have confirmation.

First line: As it turned out, Sherlock's skills were not optimized for recreational photography.
